About Grace & Grit — Christchurch Paramedical Tattooing

I’m Anna — a Registered Nurse with a background in both Theatre and surgical ward nursing.

My journey into tattooing grew from working closely with people during some of their most vulnerable moments. I saw how deeply the body and identity are connected, particularly after surgery or illness, and how important gentle, restorative care can be in rebuilding confidence.

Grace & Grit was created as a calm, clinical space where tattooing is approached thoughtfully — never rushed, never cosmetic-led by default. My focus is on skin health, safety, and results that feel natural and respectful of what your body has been through. I am currently in the final stages of my training and am so excited to be offering these services in the very near future.

Alongside paramedical services such as areola tattooing and scar revision, I will also be offering subtle cosmetic tattooing and saline tattoo removal. Every service is delivered with the same values: care, integrity, and quiet confidence.
