I'm Anna, a registered nurse and the artist behind Grace & Grit.
My background is in surgical and theatre nursing, including years spent alongside women going through mastectomies and breast reconstruction. What stayed with me was their strength, carried with grace, through some of the hardest chapters of their lives. That's where the name comes from, and it's the standard every service here is built on.
Areola tattooing is where Grace & Grit started, born from a simple realisation: this work deserves both clinical precision and real artistry, not one without the other. From there it grew into eyebrow tattooing, scar camouflage, inkless scar revision, and cosmetic injecting, each one still built around the same idea. Grace for the care. Grit for what it takes to walk through the door.
I'm an approved provider through Te Whatu Ora, Health NZ, for areola tattooing and eyebrow tattooing.
